Enabling BlackBerry AppConfig
To enable the option for the BlackBerry AppConfig:
On the App details page or on a Master Profile details page, select "Enable BlackBerry AppConfig policy" under Other BlackBerry Functionality.
Click Save changes.
Notes about using BlackBerry AppConfig
On the Blue Cedar Platform:
- BlackBerry AppConfig requires BlackBerry Dynamics to be enabled.
BlackBerry administrators:
- Please download the Blue Cedar template file and use it to configure AppConfig on the UEM.
See Implementing BlackBerry AppConfig for more details.
Using the BlackBerry Analytics SDK
To enable the option for the BlackBerry Analytics SDK:
On the App details page or on a Master Profile details page, select "Enable BlackBerry Analytics SDK policy" under Other BlackBerry Functionality.
Click Save changes.
Notes about using BlackBerry Analytics
On the Blue Cedar Platform:
- BlackBerry Analytics requires BlackBerry Dynamics to be enabled.
BlackBerry administrators:
- BlackBerry Analytics requires a separate licensing agreement with BlackBerry. If you do not have the appropriate license, enabling the BlackBerry Analytics SDK in the Blue Cedar Platform has no effect.
- To add a user's app events to BlackBerry Analytics, in BlackBerry UEM, assign the BlackBerry Analytics entitlement to a user as "Required." From this point, when a user uses apps that have been integrated with the Analytics SDK, those apps send events to the Analytics portal.
- Events are delayed 24 hours before they appear in the BlackBerry Analytics dashboard.
