Blue Cedar End of Life (EOL) announcement for the Atlas Gateway Hardware Appliance 

Blue Cedar announces the End of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) for the Atlas Gateway Hardware Appliance with the below milestones, descriptions, and dates for the affected product. Customers with an active support contract will continue to receive support from Blue Cedar Support per their contract.

October 31, 2020

EOM: End of Maintenance

Blue Cedar will no longer issue patch or maintenance releases after this date. Critical security updates will be issued, as needed, until the end of support.

June 1, 2021

EOS: End of Support

Blue Cedar will no longer provide product updates including security fixes.

June 30, 2021

EOL: End of Life

Technical support is no longer available for product assistance. Customers should migrate to new products before this date.

Product replacement options

The replacement for the Atlas Gateway Hardware Appliance is the Blue Cedar Connect Gateway v2, which supports IKEv2 VPN connections and is available as a virtual machine. Mobile apps must use Blue Cedar’s latest in-app VPN in order to connect through the Blue Cedar Connect Gateway v2. The data sheet provides the specs and the benefits of this gateway.
