App Customization profiles (UI)
Configuring the App Customization profile
There are two pre-defined themes you can use for the App Customization screens:
- Blue Cedar default: Includes the Blue Cedar logo and color scheme. This is the default theme provided when you create a new App Customization profile.
- Device default: Uses the default color scheme for the device (usually black and white or gray) and no logos. To get this theme, you can either apply no App Customization policy, or you can create an App Customization profile (which starts with the Blue Cedar default), then clear all the color values and choose None for the images.
Use an App Customization profile to set these options with the App Customization policy. (See Policy profiles for general information about managing policy profiles.)
Click Apps, then Android or iOS, then the app you want to secure. The App details screen appears.
Click the settings gear on the App Customization panel. The Policy details page appears, where you can create a new profile or edit an existing profile.
On the Policy details page, click + App Customization Profile to create a new profile, or click the pencil icon next to an existing profile to edit it.
On the App Customization profile page, enter the Profile name and description, then select the desired options. (Note that there may be variations on different devices.)
