Blue Cedar security policies
Security policies are business logic rules that you use to secure iOS and Android apps via the Blue Cedar policy console.
- Dynamic policies are managed on the gateway. These rules apply without having to re-secure the app, in response to events on the mobile device or to connections to the gateway. See "Managing dynamic app policies" in the gateway doc for more information.
- Static app policies are embedded in the Blue Cedar injectable. If you add or change a static policy, you must re-secure the app and re-deploy it.
Configure these static policies with the policy console to protect your apps and data and customize apps:
- App Customization
- Browser Configuration
- Client Certificates
- DAR Encrypted Data at Rest
- Data Sharing
- Integrity and Posture
- Diagnostics
- End User License Agreement
- FIPS 140-2 module
- Local App Authentication
- Secure Microtunnel
- Secure Web Stack
- Trusted Server Certificates
- Web Authentication
You can also create a collection of policies with Master policy profiles.
