The mobile app is the basic unit of understanding for the Blue Cedar model. Everything within the Blue Cedar Platform revolves around apps. Each app needs a workflow to push it along from integration through deployment.
In general terms, an “app” refers to a binary executable file that mobile users can download from an app store. However, an “App” on the Blue Cedar Platform is a lot more than that. A Blue Cedar App refers to a logical container that groups versions of imported app binaries together with an associated Blue Cedar Workflow. There is a 1:1 relationship between each Blue Cedar App container and its associated workflow. A new workflow requires that you create a new App.
